The In It To Win It Series
NOTMN, in partnership with the New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corp. presents quarterly In It To Win It workshops which focus on empowering local, diverse businesses so they can participate more equitably in the tourism economy. Since the first session in November 2018, hundreds of local entrepreneurs have participated in workshops on social media, festival procurement and how to scale for big events.
Meet The Players Luncheons
Meet the Players luncheons connect NOMTN members with high-level business leaders and executives in tourism/hospitality and economic development. Our members-only signature series is limited to 25 members on a first-come basis.
Downtown Development Event / Backatown Community Fest
NOMTN and the Downtown Development District partner to celebrate New Orleans’ authentic urban culture at the Backatown Community Fest. The inaugural event in July of 2019 took place at Duncan Plaza, adjacent to City Hall. It highlighted the culture of New Orleans’ brass bands and Social Aid and Pleasure Clubs with a “brass-off,” “101 Instruction,” dance demonstrations and more.
